Remembering the victims of violence and injustice
Working as a community partner with EJI, Volusia Remembers will create and install historical markers at the documented sites of the lynchings. We will also install a replica of the Volusia monument currently on display at the Peace and Justice Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama. As the sites are determined and the work progresses, we will update our information here.
